No matter whether you’re an early bird or a late riser – the place to be for brunch in Myrtle Beach is Strong Waters Craft Cocktails & Kitchen. We have plenty of places to gather with friends, whether you choose to cozy up in a booth, sit at a high-top table or grab a seat at our bar. The only speakeasy in town, we utilize fresh and local while putting our own Lowcountry twist on the classic brunch fare. While you may have heard about (or hopefully tasted) the bottomless mimosa special, our ‘Build Your Own’ Bloody Mary Bar and even our spiked coffee – but we have something else in store. We just created a brand-new menu with our new chef, packed full with even more deliciousness!
The first set of new dishes comes under the Early Riser section of our menu. We’ve completely transformed the average B.L.T. and even added an extra letter to create our B.E.L.T. On our sandwich you’ll discover candied bacon, two eggs your way, bibb lettuce and fried green tomatoes with black garlic aioli – all piled high on toasted sourdough. You remember how Elvis loved his peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwiches? We’ve created our own rendition – the Velvet Elvis! This sweet and salty combo consists of buttery toasted brioche topped with peanut butter, banana, honey and candied bacon. For those that crave something sweet to wake up to – good news – we now serve French Toast. Combining seasonal ingredients, you’ll feel like you’re taking a bite out of fall with our egg battered brioche topped with sliced apples, apple bourbon pecan syrup and candied pecans.
The Chicken Fried Steak is a little taste of the city, deep fried to a southern crisp. We take the Chicken fried New York strip and serve it up on an open-faced cheddar biscuit and smother it with mushrooms, demi-glace and two eggs your way. And the Huevos Rancheros are like a party in your mouth! Think warm tortillas loaded with three eggs your way, Carolina style dirty rice, black beans, avocado, and Cotja cheese.
For those that skip right to the “-unch” part of brunch, we’ve introduced a few new items we think you’ll enjoy in the Late Sleeper section of the menu. Don’t be fooled by the bite-size appearance of our Wagyu Sliders – they’re packed full of flavor! We take wagyu beef and top it with pimento cheese, arugula, candied bacon and tomato jam. Seafood fanatic? Try our Crab Cake Sandwich – a jumbo crab cake pan seared with bibb lettuce, pickled green tomato and old bay remoulade. Or tantalize your taste buds with our Crab Stack, which is jumbo lump crab meat tossed in mint vinaigrette and layered with tomato concasse, sliced avocado, crab fingers and drizzled with evoo. And our Kale Salad is anything but basic. We toss fresh, seasonal ingredients including shaved apples, spiced walnuts, Fresno chilis, and goat cheese with Dinosaur kale and top it with a drizzle of cider vinaigrette.
Our new brunch menu is served every Sunday, from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Our fare is filling, and our handcrafted cocktails are strong and delightful, so grab some friends and start your Sunday Funday with brunch at Strong Waters Bar on the corner of 21 and Ocean!
