Loris Bog-Off Festival

Don’t miss the Loris Bog-Off Festival on Oct. 21, 2023!The annual event, which began in 1980, is sponsored by the Loris Chamber of Commerce and draws fans from around the state. The event features a chicken bog cooking contest, live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors and more! Chicken Bog is a Lowcountry dish made from rice, chicken, onion, sausage and a special blend of spices. Many variations on the original have cropped up over the years, and the Bog-Off is a great event to give the dish a try.
