Just as we’re saying farewell to the summer heat and hello crisp fall days, Strong Waters Craft Cocktails & Kitchen in Myrtle Beach is saying goodbye to a few dishes as it makes room for the latest ones on our new menu. At Strong Waters Bar, we source our ingredients locally, meaning we’re always inspired by the flavors of the changing seasons and look for ways to incorporate those ingredients into our dishes.
A new addition to the ‘Share Menu’ section is the Rock Shrimp Tacos, which consists of Florida Rock Shrimp served with fresh pico de gallo, crisp lettuce, and specialty Rojo sauce. And for everyone who asked – we answered. Our juicy Pork Belly Tacos are back by popular demand! We’ve also revamped our Rib Stack plate that now includes four Rib Bones smoked to perfection and served with our signature barbeque sauce. We serve them over jalapeno cornbread and maple syrup butter. Talk about a southern dish with a twist! Plus our new Truffle Fries are pencil-thin fries tossed in truffle oil and parmesan and served with garlic aioli will have you wishing every day was fry-day.
Under the ‘Main’ part of our menu in the ‘Handhelds’ section, you’ll find Sea Bass Tacos, our take on your typical fish tacos. This dish has freshly caught blackened Sea Bass served over homemade vegetable slaw tossed with our specialty Rojo sauce. Pair the tacos with a local Pale Ale on draft and you’ve got yourself a quintessential Taco Tuesday meal that you can enjoy any day of the week. The same Rock Shrimp that are in the appetizer portion of the menu reappear in this ‘Handhelds’ section, but this time as a sandwich. The breaded Rock Shrimp are served on a Lobster Roll and topped with Sriracha tartar sauce for a little heat. As for our main dishes, we’ve added a Sea Bass Risotto and Beef Tenderloin. The Sea Bass Risotto is Chilean Sea Bass herb marinated and seared, topped with compound butter and served with a side of asparagus and risotto. Our Beef Tenderloin is so tender it will melt in your mouth! We grill 8 oz of beef tenderloin over truffled shitake mushroom mac and cheese and roasted asparagus and garnish with shallots and bordelaise.
And make sure to save room for the last course! We have a variety of desserts sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. We’ve recently added a decadent Ricotta Cheesecake that’s the perfect size for everyone at the table to take a bite. Our Creme Brulee is a banana pudding topped with toasted vanilla wafers and sliced banana. It’s so creamy with just the right about of sweet – this one you might not want to share!
Strong Waters Bar in Myrtle Beach invites you to the corner of 21 and Ocean to join us for dinner and taste our new menu. We think you’ll agree with us that it truly is the bee’s knees!
